Geshema Lobzang Chhodon's letter
Dear Madam or Sir,
I am reaching out to kindly request your support for a project deeply rooted in spirituality, social justice, and cultural transmission.
As the first nun from the Spiti region to earn the prestigious Geshema title, I am joining the Jamyang Project—an educational and human-centered initiative dedicated to the youth of my native region Spiti, a Himalayan region deeply shaped by Tibetan Buddhist tradition, suffers from a lack of accessible educational opportunities, particularly for young girls. Additionally, women continue to face marginalization within both religious and cultural spheres.
The Jamyang Project offers a meaningful solution: to organize seminars, workshops, and educational programs inspired by the Nalanda tradition.
By putting it online, we hope to share this initiative with French youth.
Our goal is to cultivate compassion, self-awareness, emotional well-being, and spiritual leadership. Through these actions, we aim to shape a conscious generation capable of building a more peaceful world.
We are now seeking partners and donors to help us fund these initiatives.
Your contribution—regardless of the amount—would represent more than logistical support. It would symbolize a commitment to equality, peace, and the preservation of ancient wisdom adapted to 21st-century challenges.
I sincerely thank you for considering this request and remain at your disposal for further discussion or meetings.
With deep gratitude and hope,
Geshema Lobzang CHHODON

Nadia's message
Dear donors,
Fifteen years ago, I met an exceptional woman: Geshema Lobzang CHHODON.
I was deeply touched by her humility, her knowledge and her quiet strength.
Since that day, she has inspired my path.
Convinced, by 20 years spent with teenagers as a special education teacher, of the importance of offering simple and effective tools to our youth, I pass on her teachings who are an invitation to cultivate inner peace, lucidity and compassion.
My role within the association is to ensure the administrative part, the management of the media, the adaptation and the translation into French, so that the message of peace of the Dalai Lama circulates without distortion.
I invite you to walk by our side so that this seed of wisdom continues to flourish.
With gratitude and trust,
Nadia Abdoune
Véronique's message
Dear donors,
My personal journey has led me to become aware of the need for education from an early age and throughout life. Holder of a Master 2 in wealth management at the age of 40, I worked for many years in banking and finance, then I had the opportunity to take a position as general delegate in an association. The purpose of this association "Les Entretiens de l'Excellence" was to bring young people from disadvantaged backgrounds into contact with professionals from the same backgrounds who had succeeded in French society thanks to the republican school. I was able to see the benefits of this action not only in encouraging studies but also in instilling values of exchange, sharing and mutual aid. Ethics and self-confidence are the basis of professional success, they lead to the practice of benevolent management and to the transmission of the rules.
It is therefore quite natural that I agreed to support "Jamyang Project for Spiti" by bringing my skills. I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart the donors who will want to participate in making these values universal for generations to come.
